As the surface of a wood dock is exposed to sunlight, dirt, mildew or rain it eventually fades in appearance or worse yet, deteriorates. Wood surfaces will succumb to weathering within a few years and will need to be refinished. Proper cleaning and sealing are vital steps in the refinishing of wood docks.
